11/19/2023 0 Comments Stellaris limbo gone![]() Everyone else has to either buy three+ of the correct ruler types to populate their election roster with, or they have to spend influence to make sure a leader of the correct type gets chosen. something to that effect.īasically, because of the above weirdness, the way elections work, and the number/distribution of leaders you start out with, the only government types who can reliably keep their original ruler after they step out of office are Science Directorates and Rational Consensuses (and a Rational Consensus sometimes elects the wrong leader type even then, which poofs the original ruler). It has something to do with the game trying to smoothly swap the old ruler into the new ruler's vacated job, failing if they aren't of the same leader type (governors can't be admirals, etc), trying to instead stick the old ruler into their last known location, except the old ruler doesn't have a last known location so they end up in some inaccessible limbo. It's supposed to be that the empire ruler is set to a leader type based on which leaders your government can elect as rulers, however the ruler goes poof if the game doesn't successfully switch in another leader of the same type to become the new ruler when their term is up. /r/Xenonion (Stellaris' Finest News Source).Twitter account of Daniel Moregard, Stellaris director.Result: Paradox is Swedish" Websites and Wikis Please use proper spoiler formatting if you are going to discuss spoiler content in non-spoiler threads: >!Paradox is Swedish!<</p> Please mark a thread for spoilers if there's spoilers in the main post or if there's going to be open discussion of spoilers in the comments To avoid spoiling narrative surprises for others, please adhere to the following guidelines: If you want stricter quality control, go to /r/ParadoxPlaza BANNED TOPICĬontent that breaks the spirit of these rules may be removed at moderator discretion.
